Meets the 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month after the 6pm Mass in front of the Blessed Virgin Mary side of the church.
Spiritual Motherhood is a supernatural way for women to care for souls, especially priests. It is a type of maternity that nurtures Divine Life in others by doing Gods Will centered on the Holy Eucharist, faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and it focuses on Authentic Marian Femininity and Maternity.
“If the desired renewal of the Church depends for the most part on its priests, then it will also depend to a larger degree on the families and in particular women and mothers” (Pope St. John Paul II, May 4, 1987).
Who can become a Spiritual Mother?
Any woman can become a Spiritual Mother regardless of her age, state of life and vocation. “This type of motherhood is for women: married, single, widowed or someone who is ill”. (Congregation for the Clergy, Eucharistic Adoration for the Sanctification of Priests and Spiritual Maternity).
