Mindful Body Movement: Come try the Mindful Body Movement Class at St. Joseph every Tuesday at 1pm in the Parish Life Center. Wear athletic shoes, bring a bottle of water and a friend! HEALTH TIP: We all have Mental Health. The distinguishing factor in Mental Illness is typically chronic or long-term impairments that range from moderate to disabling in nature. As a faith community, we can offer spiritual comfort through our prayerful presence in people’s lives by acknowledging their pain and supporting them through the healing and recovery process. For more information, visit the National Catholic Partnership on Disability athttp://www.ncpd.org/ministries-programs/specific/mentalillness or talk with your parish nurse. |
From these funds, donations have been made to our Parish Health Ministry, to SJS Tuition Assistance, to the Social Action Committee and to help fund the church landscaping, just to name a few. The Womens' Club is open to all women of our Parish and all members, living and deceased are remembered at the Mass the 2nd Tuesday of each month, which is also the day of the Women's Club regular meeting and our Monthly Potluck Luncheon. |

WHAT WE ARE NOT….
WHERE ARE WE?
WHY DID WE FORM THIS GROUP?The need was seen for a ministry entirely devoted to Catholic singles, due to our need for community, our desire for closeness and intimacy within the framework of the Catholic environment; being an important aspect of the Body of Christ. Our strength is our Singleness. Our desire will be to use it for the Glory of God and the unity of Christ’s Church. You are welcome to bring your Catholic friends, especially those who are in need of vocational counseling, or those in a committed relationship, but still unmarried.
