Young Families Ministry
The St. Joseph Young Families Ministry serves the spiritual and social needs of families with young children, birth through early school age. We organize monthly events and we welcome new families anytime! Events include weekend family picnics, prayer playdates, adoration and confession opportunities, and service events. For more information, please contact Abby Steinhilber ([email protected]) or Cynthia Townsend ([email protected]).
Neighbors in Christ
This ministry of great service reaches out to fellow parishioners in times of bereavement. When a parishioner passes on, the members of this ministry offer food and comfort to the family. These acts of kindness are a small gift to the grieving family during one of the most difficult times of their lives. For more information, please contact Gaethea Fleck at 615-868-5650 or Mary Lou Spurlock at 615-227-4594.
Spanish Ministry
The Spanish Ministry serves our families from many different Spanish speaking countries to grow in the knowledge of our Catholic Faith. Together we attend the Religious Education classes on Sundays with the adults attending a Spanish session while the children attend their religious class. We also participate in many different activities in our parish. For more information, please contact Elda Hernandez 615-568-0258.
Wedding Guild
The Wedding Guild assists the clergy, staff and bridal parties with preparations for rehearsals and weddings at St. Joseph Church. Ministry members meet with each bride several times through the wedding planning process to ensure adherence to church guidelines and the bride’s wishes. For more information about joining the ministry, please contact Kathy Duer at 615-826-0846.
